Lighthouse Keepers’ Bundy Clock
This Bundy clock is believed to have been used by employees of the Montague Island Lighthouse to log the start and end of their shifts. Designed by Colonial Architect James Barnett in 1873, construction of Montague Island Lighthouse commenced in 1878. It was completed and officially lit on 1 November 1881, before being automated in 1986 and demanned in 1987.
The Bundy clock, which is on loan from National Parks and Wildlife Service, is on exhibition at the Narooma Lighthouse Museum.
