Medallions awarded to Munn’s Maizena Company. Established in a converted wheat flour mill in Merimbula, Munn’s Maizena Company commenced production in 1867 and the very same year, they secured a number of gold medals at the Melbourne International Exhibition. Their award winning status grew throughout the 19^th and early 20^th centuries, with at least nineteen medals and certificates presented at various international and colonial exhibitions. These included medallions from the Agricultural Society of NSW (1875); and the Paris Exposition Universelle Internationale (Paris International Exhibition) (1878).

Both medals are on display at the Merimbula Old School Museum.
